Announcement: Japantown Tours

For the past few months, I’ve been working hard on a new project I’m very excited to announce: Starting today, I’m hosting historic food tours of San Francisco’s Japantown through AirBnB experiences.

On the tour, I’ll share little-known stories and secrets of Japantown and we'll enjoy snacks from my favorite Japantown vendors. Of course, no tour of Japantown is complete without talking about the African-American and Jewish past of the Western Addition, so we'll venture over to Fillmore Street as well. Japantown has always been one of my favorite neighborhoods of San Francisco, but it's taken me a while to explore and build relationships in this very special community. It's a community that has continued to exist against all odds, and I hope will continue thriving for many years to come.

All Thursdays in June except June 1st

Fridays July 14th and 28th
